Can't make calls in Tenerife
I arrived in Tenerife today. My phone is connected to the local network (YOIGO). Although I'm getting my data allowance, messages, etc, I am not able to make any calls either back to the UK or local. I keep getting the message that "calls are not possible from this phone number". I checked all roaming settings and everything looks fine, and even put +44 in front of the numbers but nothing works, so can anyone tell me what the problem is? Joining Smarty was the best bargain I scooped last year. I took out the special 32gb sim only monthly plan and haven't looked back. I've recommended Smarty to several friends already. Also I think if you join via the Smarty sub-reddit link you can get a £10 Zoom voucher, though not sure if that offer still exists.
