Spend cap (like Three's) ?

I'm new to Smarty having moved from Three.

Three have a monthly Spend Cap setting, described here:

https://www.three.co.uk/support/bills-and-contracts/your-monthly-plan-and-usage/spend-caps

which I had set to zero pounds. It gave me the peace of mind that my monthly bills would never be more than the standard price, and there would be no bill shocks.

Is there a similar setting in Smarty?

@tiresias  You do not need it with Smarty because they do not operate the same way.

You pay for each monthly plan in full, in advance.

IF (and only if) you want to add some credit to cover calls not included in your plan e.g. international calls, then you can do that.

You will never get a surprise bill from Smarty as they do not offer you any services on credit to be paid afterward via billing.

In summary - you cannot run up a bill - you get a message saying that the service chosen is not available if you do not have the appropriate money in place to pay for it.

Thanks. That's great. Presumably there must be an option in the dashboard to "add some credit" - I'll look later, but doubt I'll ever need it. 🙂

@tiresias  Yep - there is such an option there.
