Changed my tariff to the social tariff. Payment was apparently declined so Smarty paused my account. Tried paying but they keep refusing payment. Have tried 3 different debit cards with 2 different banks, tried paypal and google pay. Tried 3 different browsers, google, duck duck go and samsung internet. Tried the Smarty app. As advised I cleared all the caches. Uninstalled and reinstalled apps. Smarty still declining to accept payment and blamed bank. However payment out to other companies are working fine so it isn't a bank issue.
Has anyone else had a similar issue? Have spent all afternoon with customer service trying to sort this without success. They escalated it to higher up but issue as of yet is still unresolved.
First time I've come across a company that is so difficult to pay.
