setting the sim to use overseas without the actual mobile!

Hi,

I live overseas and I have switched to Smarty and taken my old number with me. I have sent it to a friend you is returning to me next week and he will bring the sim here. Issue is I have to activate the sim to use it overseas but he has not got my mobile. If this has to be dome prior to leaving how can set the sim to use it overseas in a phone in the UK.

@StuartK_3524285 Not sure if I have correctly understood the issue here, but here goes anyway!

You may need to check with Smarty Support whether you can change the APN while you are already abroad (unless anyone else can assist here). It's a one-off process normally but I'm not sure what will happen if you put back in a sim from your country of residence later.
