Unable to edit original - apologies!
So, Three had a big outage yesterday and it appears that some people still have had problems today. Could this be due to the weather knocking out service in some areas?
The number of posts on the topic has been huge. I find it disappointing that so many people have been bleating on about compensation. This appears to be representative of today's attitudes to so many things; "a problem has inconvenienced me and so I want compo".
It would be easy to believe that this type of problem didn't happen in the past. Didn't BT ever have problems with phone lines going down? Did they manage to fix those problems within a few hours? I don't think so!
While it is definitely inconvenient not to be able to contact a GP, loved one etc I am appalled by the tone adopted by many people. Reading the comments, you could almost think that the mobile network had done it deliberately to upset them.
Unfortunately, this is symptomatic of attitudes today and it makes me feel very old!

Has anyone successfully managed to get compensation if so how much?

@DaveLan_2050457 As I have posted elsewhere, the maximum amount you would have paid for a 31 day period is ยฃ20. If we accept that there was no service for a whole day, then you may be entitled to about 65p.
Given the number of customers (over 1 million according to the website) , and the fact that very many people paid a lot less for their plan - maybe ยฃ8 for the 50Gb on offer, or even the minimum plan of ยฃ6 for 5Gb - are we really expecting Smarty to have sorted out a compensation schedule of between 20p and 65p within a couple of days.
I would venture to suggest that a nice contribution from them to charity might be preferable (but then a whole can of worms is opened by choosing which charity)
