My Internet TV is not working with my unlimited data sim

Why is my Internet TV box not working with my unlimited Smarty data sim. Every time I log in, my TV just freezes. I went to Africa on holidays with this box and the Mi-Fi router I had over there was working just fine with my Internet TV box but it’s not working here in the UK. Can someone help me with an answer why this is happening
