@LlinosW_2853110 I think you're making a lot of assumptions here, although the lack of detail you've given makes it difficult to work out exactly what's happened.

Firstly, Smarty wouldn't just change your number without you initiating that.

Secondly, how could Smarty possibly do something to your phone that would stop it connecting to your car?

Is the incorrect number showing for the other person when you make a phone call, or just when you send messages? Is it the same situation for everyone you phone/message? Is it only when using specific apps for calls/messages? How long ago did you join Smarty, and did you port a number in from another network? What kind of phone are you using?

I’m not assuming this is my phone and it’s fact I’d actually love some help and not a debate as to how you can get my original number back since I didn’t authorise it.

I was topping up the phone, this was probably the 5th time doing so .

so I don’t think there should of been an issue with number change from original network.

I will be getting intouch with ombudsman of communications to try and resolve this matter as you don’t seem to want to help only call me a liar and not resolve the issue.

it’s a shame I can’t actually speak to someone over the phone to get some proper help I now realise that cheaper isn’t always better.

@LlinosW_2853110 I don't work for Smarty, I'm a customer like you. This is the Smarty Community, where customers can help out other customers with information and advice.

But seeing as you've not bothered to answer any of the questions I asked, which may have helped me identify what's actually happened, I can't help you. Good luck with it all.

@LlinosW_2853110  Have you checked the number showing in your account dashboard? Is that as expected, or has it changed?

Do you perhaps belong to a group where there has been an attempt to change one of the numbers by the Group owner?

It would be useful to put another working sim in the phone to check out the phone itself.

As far as connecting to your car, I am with @SmartyTrousers  here, as I don’t see how Smarty can affect that.

To approach the Ombudsman, you will need to show that you gave a company eight eeeks to sort out the issue and preferably will need evidence of reaching a deadlock situation.
