Hi all,
Just joined Smarty was on 3, my number is still being ported over, but have a question regards 5G.
I was getting that with 3, but now on smarty it's just 4G or 4G+, I live very near to the mast, on the map checker my postcode is well inside the 5G boundary, also my handset is compatible as checked that too.
So why aren't I getting 5G?

@hcaj_uk We don't know because we are community forum members and don't work for Smarty.
I would hazard a guess that 3 customers get priority - they pay more.

Thought I'd ask as seen others asking for help too in here.
Probably right, but as I'm paying less than half of what I used to do, I can live with it I guess lol

@hcaj_uk This sometimes does seem to be the problem.
Smarty provides a super value service that suits a great many of us, but not everyone.
The thing to consider is - is 5G service that important compared to your saving? You have done that comparison and decided you can live with it - a healthy dose of realism! 😁
