@Burge You still need to change the APN in order to make roaming possible. You access the dongle home page by typing its address into the browser address bar. It is usually of the form 192.168.x.x but you should find that in the product manual

I have no keyboard on the Dongle & my phone is on Vodafone, I entered the ip address on my phone but blank screen. Ip address on the Dongle is 192.168.8.1

I have tried on my phone typing in the Huawei home page with no results

@Burge I think you may have misunderstood my post. What you type in is an 'address' that causes your browser to look at the device home page - not Huawei's home page. (That's why I gave the type of format you need to input)

@Burge BTW - If you have not got internet access with the dongle, it would not be possible to reach Huawei's home page.

@Burge I have just done a quick search - the suggestion is that you need to input 192.168.8.1 into the url (address) bar of the computer/tablet which is on the dongle's network.

I only have the Dongle on Smarty my phone is on Vodafone & can't use the Dongle like a tablet no keyboard on it

@Burge What were you going to use with the dongle? Surely it would be a device that allows internet? Even a smart TV has a browser normally.
Or else, you could take the Vodafone sim out of the phone and put the smarty sim in and then open the browser on the phone once you have connected to the wifi network.

I have a Firestick that I can access UK TV with if I have Internet on the Dongle

@Burge Maybe I haven't been clear - if not apologies.
Each device has its Settings - this applies to phones, computers etc. In the case of a dongle, you don't have a screen and therefore when other devices are connected to its wifi network, you use one to access that page - using an internet browser as I mentioned, but putting in a special address which leads to the wifi network and not out to the internet itself.
