Group plans for existing and new child under 16

Hi,

I have recently joined along with my wife and 17 year old daughter. We each have our own individual account. I was about to add my 14 year old and then eventually create a group plan. However, I've now read that under 16's cannot have their own account.

I've read some of the FAQ's and it's not clear to me what I need to do to bring my daughter over from another provider, link her to my account but also create a group plan for wife and other daughter so all four of us are under one account.

Thanks

@Roscoe_3368388 You could add this younger daughterly creating a 'nickname' sim on your account. This would use your email and effectively be a subsidiary of your account. You could then apply the PC code from the previous provider. Please see: https://help.smarty.co.uk/en/articles/3417277-what-is-a-group-plan

How did she have an account with the previous provider if she is under age?

Thanks, I did take a look at that link before. It just wasn't clear to me if she could port her number whilst being linked to my account.

So;

1. Create nickname SIM   2. Order SIM.  3. Get PAC from current provider   4. Port number over.  5. Create group plan to bring other two over.

Current provider is Giffgaff and they allow 1 account, 1 SIM as long as the payment comes from my account.

Thanks for the link. I did see that. What isn't clear to me is do I need my 14 year old to my account from Giffgaff using the nickname route and then add my other family members who are already with Smarty or vice versa. Can I even do both?

Thanks

@Roscoe_3368388 I'm not sure the the order makes any difference. You can invite existing Smarty people and they will show as 'pending' until they accept.

The new nickname sim is not the same, but I cannot see why it would affect things.

Many thanks for your help
