Digital sim in dual sim phone

I have an IPhone 13 with a dual sim capability. I want to use it in Spain with a Spanish number. Can I exchange my Smarty physical sim for a digital sim so that I can continue using Smarty while in the UK?

Apparently, Smarty does not supply eSIM cards yet so my query is resolved.
