Hi
When I changed to Smarty I kept my old number which has been confirmed. When I call someone, my old number appears to recipient but when I text, the new smarty number appears. Calls and texts should have been transferred to my old number. Why is this happening and what can I do to have my old number appear when texting?

@LesleyB_2872801 Did you search for help on this before posting, because it has been covered many times before?
As long as your account dashboard shows the correct number, the issue lies with your phone 'remembering' the first number allocated to the sim.
The way to deal with it depends upon the type of phone.
