No service or roaming in New Zealand
I am unable to roam or receive/make calls or texts in New Zealand with Smarty. "No Service" and zero bars. It's been a real pain as I have been unable to sign into key accounts that only use SMS 2FA. This has been the case over multiple weeks and I have been through all of the troubleshooting steps with support with no luck. I have an iPhone 17 with up-to-date software. Has anyone had any luck in New Zealand (or a similar experience / suggestion for fixing it beyond what Smarty support suggests)? Unfortunately I'm going to have to change providers if I don't find a solution as I am in New Zealand annually and can't risk this happening again.
Loss of data
Whilst travelling through France and on to Spain, I had roaming and data. Upon arrival back into France I now am uble to use my data. I have good signal from the local cell site but it indicates that I have 4G r. This suggests that I am on a reduced data access list. Restarting does not resolve the problem. Any ideas?WhatsApp verification - EU
I am overseas (Greece) and have had to change my phone over, I re downloaded WhatsApp & I cannot receive the verification codes via SMS or calls, email is not an option. I've tried manually selecting the network but still doesn't work. I've received verification messages for other services all okay, such as FB, Instagram etc Meta accounts have linked to WhatsApp but it won't let me use them to log in, any other suggestions welcome. WiFi calling switched on, APN settings to use my phone abroad all correct. Chatgbt suggested something with shortcodes? Smarty chat help suggesting adding a small amount to add on to see if it bypasses the issue
No Mobile data connection with Unlimited
I have recently had no Data connection away from Wi-Fi. I have checked the mobile connection information for Smarty, and it matches that on my phone im on iPhone iOS 26 has anyone else had this issue? i have tried resetting the data information and turned the phone off and back on, but still no data away from wifi!!!! Going nuts trying to work out what is going on. My wife is on Smarty also and has no issues, and her connection info matches mine HELP
Buying add-on for EU in addition to using 12gb data allowance
Hi, I've searched for an answer but haven't found anything that specifically answers my question. My daughter is going to Italy tomorrow and so will have her 12gb data allowance to use. As she is staying in a place with no Wi-Fi I know that this will be used therefore I intend to buy an add-on today before she leaves. My question is, does the 12gb "free" allowance gets used first and then auto switch to the add-on package I've purchased? And just a supplementary question; if the add-on gets used can I just buy another one and this will immediately be available for her to use? Many thanks
