Visual Voicemail
Any plans for Visual Voicemail for SMARTY and any other networks that use the 3 network infrastructure? Voicemail is quite 1990s in that it delivers a text with a just a phone number, so you have to dial voicemail in order to identify who the caller actually is? Most of the other networks in the UK now offer this feature (or hybrid notification by icon and caller info). 3 network in Hong Kong have visual voicemail, so why doesn’t the UK have this feature?Solved37KViews23likes44CommentsWe are refreshing our tariffs to offer more choice, more data, and more value for money.

I am trying to order an £18 unlimited data sim from my dashboard and when I click the view plans and select the unlimited, I end up at my dsashboard with no notification that my sim order has gone through. No email has been sent to state I have ordered the sim so I can only assume the sim has not been ordered. I am in touch with Help but they are not reading the email properly and have just sent me a link to buy the sim, but then it does not buy or send an email to say I have purchased. Any help would be appreciatedSolved11KViews0likes18CommentsUsing a SMARTY SIM for home broadband. Can't log in to my Three account on any device when connected
I use a SMARTY data only SIM card in a wireless router to give me my home broadband and wifi connection. It all works brilliantly except for one thing: One of my mobile phones is on Three (pay as you go). I have realised that when my laptop, phone, or any device at all is connected to my SMARTY internet connection, I simply CAN NOT log in to my Three account! This caused weeks of grief, as I am going abroad shortly and needed to top-up my Three SIM card. After a long conversation with Three help chat, we figured out that the problem is I can't log in to my Three account if the device I am using is online using my SMARTY connection. In the end I had to hot-spot a connection using my daughter's GiffGaff phone, at which point I could log in to my Three account with no problems whatsoever. Does anybody have any idea why this is a problem? It's seems doubly strange, given that SMARTY run on Three. Now when I need to top up my Three phone if I've completely run out of data, I need to connect to the internet using another source. Any source but SMARTY as far as I can tell! Hope somebody can clear this up and perhaos offer a fix for this issue. Many thanks.11KViews0likes6CommentsData only Sim vs Voice Sim
I have a 4g mifi device that takes any Sim. I want to use this to connect my tablet to the internet. My question is do I have to get a data only plan Sim or can I get a normal plan used for a phone? Reason for my question is Unlimited data on the normal phone plan is on offer for £16. The unlimited data only plan is more expensive at £20. I just want to ensure I get the right plan8.5KViews2likes10CommentsNew user - can't connect to Wifi during transfer period
I'm a new customer, I transferred from EE and activated my SIM 2 days ago. I'm currently in the transfer period of bringing over my new number due to complete tomorrow 15/04/24. It was working fine last night but as of today my phone is unusable - I can't download any data or use any apps. My iPhone does not connect to Wifi as of this morning. I could understand an issue with data connection during the transfer, it's mentioned that this can take place, but it's completely illogical that the Wifi isn't connecting. It appears to be connected, I have reset it, I have checked for network errors on Zen (it's working on my laptop). I have reset my network settings, and updated the APN. Smarty customer services were not helpful - they kept answering in regards to service outages for mobile data due to engineering works and 'too many people trying to connect to the mast at once'. That's not the issue for me at home, obviously, and I can think of no other reason that my iPhone is behaving so strangely apart from the transfer. Has anyone else had this issue during transfer, how long did it last, how did they resolve? I don't know if it will work itself out in a day or two or it's a permanent issue that I need to fix urgently. The response from customer services has made me worried I've made a terrible mistake in joining Smarty, particularly as I've seen lots of comments/complaints today on the forum about data connection and wifi connection being bad - I'm used to getting a decent 5G service and being able to stream music and download video on mobile with no issues. If anyone has any advice I would appreciate it - I need my phone to work because of all the app based authentication on my phone.Solved7.3KViews0likes12CommentsCalling all Unlimited Plan customers…
We’re keen to hear from you and how we can enhance your experience with SMARTY so we have a few questions for you. You don’t have to answer them all, you don’t have to write pages and pages (unless you want to), we just really want to know how you feel about your plan and how we can make the experience better. Please be honest, feel free to make suggestions, you won’t hurt our feelings (I can cry in private), and we might be able to do something about some of them. (No promises.) Why are you on an Unlimited plan? Do you stream a lot of TV? Do you send hi-res images and video around? Do you use it overseas? Do you feel 12GB suits that need? Do you use an EU data pass to unlock the rest of your data when in Europe? What can do to make things better (other than reducing the price; that’s obvious and we all love a bargain)? Longer data passes? Non-EU passes? Rewards on your anniversary? No idea is off the table. (Might not be achievable, but no harm in asking, eh?) Of course, if everything is OK and you’re happy, post that too. Contentment is fine. Thanks6.7KViews1like26CommentsHow do you run two SIMs off the same, original account
I have a spare SIM and would like to run it off my original account simultaneously - i.e. two different devices running off the same account at the same time. The nearest I can see is a Group SIM but that involves activating the second SIM and that involves paying for a price plan upfront. But I don't want to double my expenditure. I want to run ONE price plane with two different SIMs. How do I do that please ?Solved6.4KViews1like4CommentsPlan price increase
Will there be price increases on plans? On previous networks I have took a plan out and say, two years later they start adding price increases, inflation etc. Is this something that can happen with Smarty or is the cost of the plan staying the same no matter how many years you stay with it?Solved6.4KViews0likes7Comments
