Visual Voicemail
Any plans for Visual Voicemail for SMARTY and any other networks that use the 3 network infrastructure? Voicemail is quite 1990s in that it delivers a text with a just a phone number, so you have to dial voicemail in order to identify who the caller actually is? Most of the other networks in the UK now offer this feature (or hybrid notification by icon and caller info). 3 network in Hong Kong have visual voicemail, so why doesn’t the UK have this feature?Solved37KViews23likes44CommentsWe are refreshing our tariffs to offer more choice, more data, and more value for money.

I have a 4g mifi device that takes any Sim. I want to use this to connect my tablet to the internet. My question is do I have to get a data only plan Sim or can I get a normal plan used for a phone? Reason for my question is Unlimited data on the normal phone plan is on offer for £16. The unlimited data only plan is more expensive at £20. I just want to ensure I get the right plan8.5KViews2likes10CommentsCalling all Unlimited Plan customers…
We’re keen to hear from you and how we can enhance your experience with SMARTY so we have a few questions for you. You don’t have to answer them all, you don’t have to write pages and pages (unless you want to), we just really want to know how you feel about your plan and how we can make the experience better. Please be honest, feel free to make suggestions, you won’t hurt our feelings (I can cry in private), and we might be able to do something about some of them. (No promises.) Why are you on an Unlimited plan? Do you stream a lot of TV? Do you send hi-res images and video around? Do you use it overseas? Do you feel 12GB suits that need? Do you use an EU data pass to unlock the rest of your data when in Europe? What can do to make things better (other than reducing the price; that’s obvious and we all love a bargain)? Longer data passes? Non-EU passes? Rewards on your anniversary? No idea is off the table. (Might not be achievable, but no harm in asking, eh?) Of course, if everything is OK and you’re happy, post that too. Contentment is fine. Thanks6.7KViews1like26CommentsUnable to renew or change my plan
My package was expiring today and it wasn't on auto renew. Now I with app, all types of browsers, clearing cache and cookies as advised by helpline, different payment cards, I can not renew it or change it and unable o use any voice or data. Whenever I proceed with renew or change plan, proceed with payment, otp recieves from bank, but it never gets deducted and following error messages appears: "Sorry we couldn't process your request, check that you have completed each field correctly and try again" Very frustrating as can not use phone except on WiFi. Any solution? Thanks in anticipation.1.4KViews1like4CommentsAllocation of data used
A long time ago I was given a 2Gb data add by Smarty as a 'sorry' for a mess-up. I generally don't use much data via mobile as I am often in places with wifi; the data add on hardly went down and equally I rarely used much data from my monthly plans. Recently, the add on started to show less left in it and I queried why data used was not primarily coming from my monthly plan. I was told that a system change in Aug. 2024 meant that any complimentary data add on would be used before data from a monthly plan. I thought that was a fair explanation and had no problem with it. This month, I had reason to use a fair bit of mobile data as I had a short broadband outage during a long Zoom meeting of some importance. After that, I noticed that the data add on had gone down but had not been used up, however my plan data had also been used. I asked the Support Team how come ALL of the data add on was not used up before the data was taken from my plan. I have not been able to get a proper response (e.g. "It takes a few hours to catch up on the system" - not so - or "What is wrong with your plan?" - nothing!) I am beginning to appreciate the problems that many people report on here when they deal with Smarty Support via web chat and that is a great pity because I often suggest that as a wy forward. It does indeed appear that some of staff there do not fully understand written English - I believe that I write quite clearly, but any of you are welcome too tell me otherwise if that's an honestly held opinion. Can anyone shed any light on this issue please? Just to summarise: Should a free data on be completely used before data is 'spent' from a monthly plan? YulianK - can you assist please?2.4KViews1like7CommentsWhy not Up your game @Smarty. physical SIM cards to eSIMs be introduced to Smarty's serv

Hi, currently have a SMARTY SIM for my daughter and I am looking to move my wife from Three. I noted there is a Winter offer of 15GB for £7 which will be ideal for her. But if I try to do it via a Group it seems I get either 8 GB for £ 6.30 (10% off as a group member) or 16 GB for £7.20. Will it be better for me to order the new SIM in the 15GB for £7 plan and then join my group to get 10% discount or will that not work? Also can she move from Three to SMARTY with a Three PAC Code?
