You’ve sent me a spare SIM can I put that in to identify the problem at least this would isolate the issue with either the phone or SIM ?

Because this is a new phone to me although not a new phone as such. I don’t know if the problem is with the SIM or the phone. I’m unable to make any calls on 4g/3g whichever is available although I can receive calls and send and receive text messages...
