Hello All

I am becoming increasingly frustrated by two issues regarding Smarty:

1: In spite of navigating the Smarty website, my account and the forum, I am unable to establish how to contact an advisor for Smarty.

2. I am in the UK. I have attempted on several occasions to ring government offices with 0800 or 0345 numbers. I keep getting the message 'Sorry. You do not have access to this service'.

Why do I not have access to these numbers in spite of being up to date with payment plans and there being, as far as I am aware, no issue with my account?

How am I able to contact Smarty's customer support directly?

Thank you

Yvette

@YvetteD_1050583  Interestingly, this post has appeared for me today as a new post, 10 Nov.

1. If you follow the 'Contact us' you can get in touch:  https://smarty.co.uk/contact

2. There have been reports here, and I have personal experience of, this problem in contacting certain numbers. The common feature seems to be that they are 'landline' numbers that run through internet-style portals. I did find that calling such a number on the following day, it connected immediately. Really don't know exactly why it occurs but I wonder if it is linked to the call moving from mobile network to another internet network.

You cannot contact Smarty customer support directly, other than via web chat. Smarty keep cots down by limiting the type of support they offer.

HI MSF

Thanks for your reply. You were right about ringing the 0800 number the following day. I did exactly that and the number rang and I got through to the department.

Regarding the ling to contact a Smarty advisor: I did click the link you gave and could see that it has a 'How to Get More Help' area right at the bottom. I will use this in future.

Many thanks.

Yvette

It is an odd thing and I wonder if we shall ever get to the bottom of the issue.
