I have no access to my sim since last night. I understand 3G is being phased out but my phone is compatible with 4G so I don't understand why my Sim is not allowing me to use data or make calls. I have gone to Sim settings but whole section is greyed out though it does show 4G available. Is anyone else having similar issues... What's the period for something like this to be sorted, I need a working Sim.

When is this supposed phase out of 3G going to be completed, is there a date set?
โ04-10-2024 17:24 PM
@Amina-24 It's all in another of the helpful articles: https://help.smarty.co.uk/en/articles/6142278-switching-off-3g
Did you check the phone by following the detailed instructions in the article I signposted you to?
Have you considered ordering a replacement sim?
Have you also checked Coverage and Network Status for your postcode?

I have read through the link provided thanks, the status on the coverage and area shows everything is working fine and no issues, only thing left is whether to get a new Sim or wait as unsure whether this will resolve

@Amina-24 Can you try the sim in another phone that appears on the compatible list?

The smarty Sim works fine on another Samsung phone which was my previous one I had changed due to low battery issue but not the current phone, unfortunately I will have to change Sim providers as other sims do work on my current honor phone tested tonight.

@MSF thank you for the help. Appreciate it, looks like Smarty just wasn't meant for me at this moment. Who knows perhaps in the future it can be possible to support more devices.
