The recent merger with Vodafone means that Smarty bandwidth will be routed to Vodafone customers in peak/busy times. It has been heralded as a good thing for Smarty customers, but there's no chance that Vodafone will choose Smarty customers over its own especially when their customers pay more.
Another thing is that most of the 5G marketing has disappeared from the Smarty website overnight. Now it's all about 15 year old tech 4G. We went from getting the best 5G in the country (supposedly) to getting 20% faster 4G, is that not just a polished turd?
