Voicemail Personal Greeting Resets To Default Message Every Few Months
Ever since you introduced the new voicemail system last year, I have noticed my personally recorded greetings keep getting wiped after a couple of months and I have to record the greeting. This has become very frustrating especially when I record an extended absence greeting when I a, on holiday and stop callers from leaving messages and then find that it’s turned itself off and reset all my personal greetings back to the smarty default message. I have spoken to someone on the message system but they were under the impression that the new voicemail system did not have the option to record a person greeting, even though I explained its option 3 on the voicemail menu but they still insisted that the default smarty message was the only option. More training needed here I think. I notice another user has posted the same issue here in the community but smarty just asked them to contact smarty directly, but the user never posted any more replies so not sure if they got it sorted. Is anyone else having this problem? And Smarty why does this keep happening? All was fine under the old voicemail system this new system is a real step backwards.Voicemail notification texts
I was with EE, when I received a voicemail, I would receive a text with the callers number. The text would show the name of the caller if they were in my contact list. Smarty just send a text with Smarty's voicemail number. Please could Smarty change the notification text to show the callers number. I know the voicemail headers include the number but this does not really help me identify the caller (or tap #).
Calls to Lebara
My brother is on Lebara and when I try to call him from Smarty I either get silence or voicemail. Two other members of family and one friend also on Smarty have the same problem calling him. I got him to cancel all call diverts but it made no difference - anyone have ideas? (Also he doesn't receive my SMS messages)silent voicemail
my voicemails used to work fine yk "welcome to ur voicemail u have one new message from 07...." then then message plays and now when i try to use it I ring it and it's just complete utter silence. nothing. idk if the voicemails I'm recieving are silent either but it's literally nothing and it's very frustrating because I'm trying to go to uni and what if they are calling about something important?? how the hell do I fix this please 🙏
