Delay before voicemail kicks in

My iPhone has started going straight to voicemail with most calls. How do I change the ringing period before voicemail kicks in?

    CQ  From previous threads on this forum, I do not think that you can change the time.

    Are you sure that your settings are not sending all calls to voicemail i.e. do not disturb ?
