Hi I have been given a new phone by my son, an iPhone 16promax. I have moved all my info over from older iPhone but when I put my sim in the new iPhone it won’t find the network. have tried my sons sim, it works fine so it seems to be current smarty sim that is causing the problem. Activated my new Smarty SIM yesterday and I notice that the mobile number in the Dashboard is not the same as I requested (i.e. I sent a PAC code to Smarty with the details). However even though the number displayed is not mine all my old services seem (?) to be working. When my wife calls my new Smarty number to test it out there is no connection but my old number (from vodafone) still works. Hello there. I accidentally smashed my smartphone last week, and have since invested in a humble Nokia. I ordered a replacement SIM, with the same number - but for some reason it won't connect!! When I first join smarty one question was normal SIM card or eSIM. I googled what is esims is run on two phone number. I clicked on yes eSIM keep my old phone number. I need clarification. Through the Smarty chat, I have been advised to select a mix and match approach to my family’s migration to a Smarty sim, however I was advised incorrectly, as the 24gb for £7 doesn’t exist as an option for Mix & Match - Disappointing. Would I have made the switch if I had known the true cost of transferring my whole family? Hello! A few days ago I had to use a new phone as my old one was sent to be repaired. Since that new phone supported esim I converted my sim to an esim and used it in that phone. Now thatI have my old phone back,a phone that does not support esim, I want to cotinue using my physical sim as always. I insered it back to the phone, yet it does not seem to work. The phone reads it, but I have no reception, cannot make or receive calls or use mobile data. How can I deal with this issue? Mistakenly activated SIM in app a few minute ago (sigh...) though I haven't actually received the SIM. Is that why I can't see an option to order a replacement, or have I missed the option somewhere? I ordered the SIM on the 5th and it's just been stuck in an Amazon depot for days according to tracking and I'm stuck with only being able to use WiFi for calling etc. which is not ideal. Any advice on how to get a replacement sent or is this a usual occurrence with SMARTY sims? Been with Giffgaff for years so this is my first experience with SMARTY. Hi, I have a group account and one of the members has lost their phone. I have a replacement phone and ordered a SIM card, this has arrived but we cannot activate it as we can't log into her smarty account. There doesn't appear to be an email address linked to her account. So, the forgot password doesn't do anything, when I log into the dashboard as the group owner I can't add an email address to her and I can't reset the password. Hi there I'm just a bit panicked because I have not yet received an email to say that my replacement sim has been dispatched even though I ordered it on Sunday, and it's now the next day and I've heard nothing.
