I am already with SMARTY (for 1 year approx) and want to keep my Phone Number and stay with SMARTY I have had a Replacement New SIM Card (which I Requested) from SMARTY, which I am putting in a new refurbished, unlocked, phone. I have put the new SIM card, with hopefully my old retained number, in my new phone, and my SMARTY Dashboard asks the following Questions:- "Your phone number We noticed you activated your SIM. Do you want to bring your phone number to SMARTY? 1.Yes, bring my number. We will bring your number to SMARTY by the end of the day 11/06/26 2. No, keep new SMARTY number Confirm " Question (maybe SMARTY techies can answer):- Which Option do I choose? I already have a SMARTY number I already use and want to keep, I've just got a replacement SIM card3Views0likes0CommentsCalls from 3 network saying I need a new sim
Anyone else being contacted by 3 network, saying I need a new SIM card for the 5g network, their asking for my details so they can send me a new 5g sim, I explained that I was with smarty and that my phone is working fine on 5g, they kept pushing for my details, I asked if I’m a customer of yours how come you don’t have my details, I politely told them that I would contact my provider smarty and ask them if I need a new card, they weren’t very happy and said well call back. Anyone else getting these calls43Views0likes2CommentsSwitch from Data Only to Data + Calls
HELP - Old data only SIM stopping me moving main phone to Smarty I have an old data only SIM I use to use in a mobile Router, which is currently does not have an active payment. I would like to switch my main phone to Smarty, but cannot fine a way to do it. The problems are: With my old sim, I cannot select a data + calls option to renew the SIM and put it in my phone, this would be the simplest solution. I don't need this data only SIM anymore once I have switch my main phone to Smarty. I have a spare new SIM, but cannot add it to my account, yes there is the 'group' option, but I need to remove the old data SIM from my account as I don't need it any more, and so it would not be a group. No way I can delete the account associated with the old SIM and start again with the new SIM. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get my main phone on to smarty ? ThanksSolved87Views0likes5CommentsWhat is happening?!
I went onto the smarty website a couple days ago. Ordered my sim, set up my plan and requested a pac code from the old provider which I then put into the smarty website as it asked for the pac code. I then set up an account on smarty and I’ve had my sim delivered today. Problem is it’s saying awaiting number on the main dashboard and I’ve just had an email saying a replacement sim is on the way…I didn’t order a replacement sim?! I only got my new smarty sim through the post today. So 1. How do I activate if it’s not giving me the option to and 2. Which sim do i activate? The one I have or the replacement sim I never even ordered? so confused!112Views0likes6CommentsSIM disconnected
This has happened across two phones And across e sim and physical Sims. I can be in an area I know has signal Not overly crowded or built up etc Then suddenly a ! Will appear next to my signal bar While it still claims to have 4 or 5 g signal But I don't have any signal I have to go into my phones settings and switch the SIM on and off again to get it to work. Never run out of data etc anyone else have this issue or just me ? Getting frustrating having to do this daily now61Views0likes2CommentsHow to change to from current voice/data SIM to Data only SIM, also keep number, also Group Owner
I currently have a voice & data SIM and am on an unlimited data package. I would like to change my current SIM to an unlimited data only SIM as I never make calls [and the unlimited data only SIM will help to reduce throttling (?)]. Questions: What is the best way to change/transfer the SIM cards? (I looked at the replacement SIM route but looks like they will only send me the same type of SIM as my current one). Aware that the new data only SIM will also need a number, can I transfer the old number over? I am also the Group Owner of a group of 3 other members. How can this transfer be done without affecting their group discounts? Thanks in advance!Solved89Views0likes2CommentsiPhone sim problem
