Hello SMARTY Community, We always love to hear your input, and right now we are exploring ideas about helping parents to keep their children safe online. As with most potential online dangers, there are several risks such as: 1. Cyberbullying, Sexting - anything to do with how your children are spoken to online 2. Exposure to pornography, violent content - anything to do with content they see online 3. Privacy and scams - anything that involves your children's personal data being targeted by scammers Which one of these threats concerns you the most? Hi Everyone, Thank you for letting us know regarding your experience with the current MFA setup. Following your feedback we have made some changes and they should be live now. Please make sure to setup your device or browser as 'Trusted' in order to avoid session timeout. Let us know if you are still prompted to enter and verify you account details every time you open SMARTY app or the website. Thank you! P.S. High Data Usage
My sister-in-law signed up with Smarty's 40GB data plan 14 days ago and she is a very light data user and yet the Smarty App states she has used 34GB of her allowance. Fortunately she is using a TP-Link 4G Router which independently records the data used. I will be paying her a visit soon to examine the Router info, her devices and general setup. For now I am suspicious as to the validity of the data usage Smarty reports via their App. Call back in a week for an update.
App keeps logging me out
Why does this do this? Been with smarty for a year or so but for the last few months the app keeps signing me out. I left a message on the play store saying this and I was told it's because I don't have biometrics set up on my phone.....well I do! It's becoming really annoying now. It's not just sometimes it's pretty much every time I log in to see my usage etc.
Unable to login to Android app
Had the app installed on my Pixel 8 for a long time, and not changed username/password. Can login to dashboard on web browser, but no matter how many times I try to login with the app, it won't accept my (checked) details. App version 2.0.1, last update 11 Nov 2025. Has anyone else found the same recently? Or is it just me?
