I started a new (first) Smarty contract and received a number. I then started a group, adding a second sim I normally used, retaining the number on transfer from Tesco. However, when buying add-ons for my second sim, all smarty communications went to the first sim, which was left in the UK. Therefore, I couldn't complete a transaction as I could not access the first sim. As far as Smarty was concerned, all access and notications went through the first sim. My question is: how can I swap sim numbers to enable my second sim to be the LEAD Sim? Thanks43Views0likes1CommentStrange Roaming Charges outside EU.
I'm in Switzerland, so have an Out-of-Plan add on for me and my wife's numbers to cover usage there. At 1.00am on several days we both have a charge labelled "Call from". But with no information. Exactly 1:00 am each time. The first was for £6.44 (at a time we were in France, so should be covered by the inclusive EU roaming. Anyone know what these are? Or had the same issue?Solved51Views0likes3CommentsRate Advice text
I’m new to Smarty. Have a rolling calling & 30GB data plan. Recently in Sweden I sent a few texts and made 1 brief call to a UK mobile. I got text from Smarty ‘It’s max £2.50/min to call, £1/min to receive calls ….. You need a cash add on to make & receive calls’ I understood this was included in my plan. Is it just a generic warning message?35Views0likes2CommentsURGENT: SMARTY is failing now, time to move to ID
Compare Smarty to ID on here: https://www.uswitch.com/mobiles/compare/sim_only_deals/ Smarty is honestly terrible. ID offers so much more on the same network for the same price. They offer more data per £, data rollover, more EU countries access, 30GB EU Roaming (18 more than Smarty), e-sim for Watches, 3 months of Apple TV + Music. It is a no-brainer to switch now, Smarty has lost it's game sadly.855Views0likes2CommentsCalling all Unlimited Plan customers…
We’re keen to hear from you and how we can enhance your experience with SMARTY so we have a few questions for you. You don’t have to answer them all, you don’t have to write pages and pages (unless you want to), we just really want to know how you feel about your plan and how we can make the experience better. Please be honest, feel free to make suggestions, you won’t hurt our feelings (I can cry in private), and we might be able to do something about some of them. (No promises.) Why are you on an Unlimited plan? Do you stream a lot of TV? Do you send hi-res images and video around? Do you use it overseas? Do you feel 12GB suits that need? Do you use an EU data pass to unlock the rest of your data when in Europe? What can do to make things better (other than reducing the price; that’s obvious and we all love a bargain)? Longer data passes? Non-EU passes? Rewards on your anniversary? No idea is off the table. (Might not be achievable, but no harm in asking, eh?) Of course, if everything is OK and you’re happy, post that too. Contentment is fine. Thanks6.8KViews1like26Comments
