Can anyone tell me why I constantly have Service Status: Out of Service? I am a new Smarty Customer. In 23 days I have only been able to use my phone twice. This is on the same day as contacting Smarty. Everything works perfectly fine but the next day Service Status is back to Out of Service. Data is working very well so far. No problem there. It's like the phone sees the Network but is not authorised to use it. I cannot access my online banking as the code that is sent to SMS is not sent. I cannot call anyone nor can they call me. I have already missed 3 appointments because of this. I need to make a hospital appointment and can not do it. I am paying for an unlimited plan but only getting data access. I have been on live chat for hours trying to get a positive outcome. Although helpful and polite. Each Agent goes through the same series of things to do but it makes no difference. I can make WhatsApp calls but certain companies will only accept calling me on my mobile number which they cannot do. Please if anyone knows how to contact Smarty Technical Team or how to solve this I would be so greatful. My next payment is in 5 days time and after nearly a month. I am NOT getting the service I am paying for. Smarty will be able to see how many phone calls and text I have made. Ordered a new sim , amazon failed to deliver , eSIM not working and can’t order new physical sim . My Smarty SIM shows full signal but Service State says “Out of Service.” I cannot make or receive calls or texts. I have been back and forth with Agents. Although polite and helpful they cannot solve my problem. My SIM number is 8944200205748063009 APN is mob.asm.net. Hi Switched to SMARTY yesterday - bit of a delay getting it all working via the PAC code but seems to be OK now with calls and SMS inbound and outbound working. Including most places that send one time codes via SMS. However, gov/uk / government gateway / HMRC does not seems to be working - not able to receive the SMS codes from 60551 so can't access the account. Have web chatted with customer support who say that there is a known issue with certain websites etc not being able to send SMS to come customers and it is being looked into, which is no problem. Was wondering if anyone else has been experiencing the same issue? My first thought was that potentially the messages are being filtered out by SMARTY as triggering a spam filter of some sort. So, can someone please explain why my phone number comes up correctly when I call yet on messages it has the temp number before my number was brought over from Vodafone to smarty? I've tried various work around yet nothing seems to fix the problem. Getting on my nerves now. For the past two days my phone is not registering my sim card onto the network in Falmouth? Service status just keeps saying there is a signifigant issue in the area and will be fixed as soon as possible! Not exactly the reliable service I was expecting and the info is vague. If anyone has any idea what the issue is and a ETA on a fix I would be most grateful. Oddly I get full bar signal.....so it is not a signal issue.....and looking at the data returned from the handshake it seems my Smarty Sim is failing authorisation? Hi, is anyone else suffering from No Registration/Network issues in and around London? Why doesn't smarty inform us about this? I found out through other websites as Smarty doesn't make it easy on theirs. It's been four days Friday 12th to current and that's too long without service.
