Network Failure
Since Friday 2-Oct where I live Perton W-ton) I have had practically no service, phone calls texts & data! No explanation has been given as to what is going on other that some vague reference to maintenance (We're fixing an issue in this area at the moment and aim to have things back up-and-running as soon as possible. We're sorry for any disruption this may cause and will add any further updates here.) This applies to Smarty and Three but not apparently Vodaphone whose service remains just fine. I have had two accounts with you for well over five years and feel very disrespected by the failure to explain what is going on. Why won't any one explain what is going on or should I leave Smarty (three) I have spent over an hour trying to get this published!
Phone number not completely changed over
Ive been with smarty for over a month now and my phone number has not changed over completely. I am currently using my own phone number as it did migrate over but when i send someone an sms message they receive it from the smarty sim card number and dont know who i am. When they send me a message it comes through fine and if i ring the smarty sim number it is not recognised. How do i get my original phone number to show up to receiptients on an sms.

Wow, nothing but profound problems -- I have paid but they won't hook me hooked me up to to my line. I keep getting chirpy messages telling me to sort out my own phone so I connect woth them! will be asking for my pac code as soon as they (if they know how) get my number transferred. I have discovered recently it is very important to find out if the customer service of a mobile phone company is based in Europe rather than India.. Oops, I forgot to ask, but 1 minute on the Web chat and belatedly figured out to my horror it was India. I am just praying they can manage the number switch before the end of the month. In the meantime I still have my Lycamobile (I was leaving them because they are based in Sri Lanka, haha) I cannot believe Which? have them as a recommended supplier. In the future I will never trust Which?
Short codes 79100
I have just read a post from 2/2025 saying we can use short codes one here , but in Dec last year 2025 I tried to join fabswingers as a supported yes I can't wait for the jokes 😀 and I got charges for the text but the code never worked and ended up being refunded for out of plan add on moneys, does anyone know if this has changed or its still a no.go from.smarty ? Thanks Jim x
Sim not delivered and eSIM not working , ERROR
Ordered a new sim , amazon failed to deliver , eSIM not working and can’t order new physical sim . Error at bottom of page pops up , absolutely useless service if there are problems, no plan B , probably need to switch users , a shame as never had previous problem r
