Hi All, new customer here. I got a Bonus SIM in with my new SIM so thought I would get my Daughter a contract. Disappointing too see that the new offers are only available to new customers, but I digress. So I am all set up, I click on the Group Plan button and then click I HAVE A BONUS SIM. I'm then told to activate the bonus card.....which I cannot do as I would need to create a whole new account for my 14 year old Daughter. So I try activating it on my name....which then wants to send me a brand new SIM, even though I have a "BONUS" one in front of me. So I cannot activate a BONUS sim to an old account?, despite what the instructions say on the screen, the only way is to order a new SIM card?, seems like a pointless expense.....why can I not just use the BONUS SIM that is sat in front of me?. Has anyone else come across a solution before I order yet another SIM and burn up the planets resources unnecessarily?. Many thanks, Rich19KViews16likes20CommentsMix & Match Group advice
Hi if I create a mix & match group would we lose our data discount example as a promotion i am getting unlimited mins and text plus 80gb data instead of 40GB due to promotion and the other person has the same..would we lose the the 40gb data each?? Been with Smarty for years and had a group plan. Connection became abysmal, so closed my main phone account. I cannot now log in / see dashboard etc because the main account is closed. How can I terminate the sim thats still on the group account? No way of contacting SMARTY directly. All 'help' questions/replies do not cover the messages I receive. I have 3 SIMs: SIM 1: group owner SIM 2: Group Member SIM 3: Group Member I need to cease SIM 1 as I no longer need it. I can't just cancel it as all the account management stuff goes via the 2-factor authentication sending a code by SMS to this SIM. I want to transfer Group Ownership to SIM 2, then cancel SIM 1. Elsewhere on this forum Smarty say this is not possoible, which is unreasonable. So I intend to remove SIM 2 and SIM 3 from the group (but I do not want to cancel them as I have gone to a great deal of trouble to port the numbers in from elsewhere), then Create another group with SIM 2 as the group owner, and join SIM 3 to it. Then I can remove SIM 1 completely. But I can't work out how to do this. Any ideas?2KViews0likes6CommentsChange name of a user within a group plan
Hello, I have added my son to our group plan but when his Smarty account was initially created we used my name (he was the set up before anyone else), so we now have 2 users under our group of 8 users with the same name, albeit different phone numbers. Hi everyone! 👋 I’ve just joined Smarty and recently created a group – I’m the admin. I’ve invited my friend to join via my referral link, and we’re just waiting for his SIM to arrive. Once it’s activated, he’ll be joining the group. I’m a bit confused about how the discounts work though. It’ll be a mix and match setup, as he uses more data than me. My plan is £6 for 10GB, and his will be £8 for 50GB. Willl he be the only one who gets the 10% discount, or do both of us get it once he joins the group?
