Intermittent SMS in South Africa

I am having trouble getting all my SMS messages in South Africa, some arrive and some don’t. I have set up my phone for using overseas as per Smarty guidance, have roaming turned on and have out of plan credit available. I’m using iPhone 15, anybody had similar issues?
