call issues

Hi all, For some reason all calls to my SMARTY SIM are coming in as private calls even though they are from contacts, all settings are on. Tried SMARTY support which just gets me to put in a load of info before saying they have ended the conversation. Anyone else got the same issue? Im at the point where im considering switching providers.30Views0likes3CommentsNo dial tone when calling
Hi all, when I call some people I get no dial tone. So its completely silent until the person answers. I have tried resetting my network, airplane mode and turning off WIFI calling. Can anyone help as I have asked Smarty chat and I'm still waiting for an answer 3 days later.20Views0likes0CommentsCan't receive calls but can dial out.
I have recently moved to Smarty and brought my number with me. I am able to dial out and they see my original number but when they call me they get a message to say the number is unavailable. - I have full signal and 5g. Frustrating as now the number had ported (or semi ported it seems) I can not use the old providers sim either. I have a daughter with complex health issues and regularly receive calls from the school and NHS so really need any advice on getting this resolved please! I have contacted the Bot but I've had no response. Thank you.80Views0likes6CommentsPoor service so far
Just joined Smarty and not impressed. I get missed calls when the phone is next to me, phone not ringing. Weak signal constantly and WiFi calling doesn’t appear to work despite being enabled. Phone in London and performance much worse than my last provider, Is this to with the recent merger? I thought days of walking around to get a decent signal were in the past.57Views0likes0CommentsCall lag
For a long time now my wife and have experienced what I think is termed lagging which results in the first part of our speech not being heard by the other party in the call. This is very annoying as we are required to keep repeating the first part of our speech. For example if we give our post code as OX4, the person at the other end does not hear the first letter “O”. I engaged in a long chat with Smarty and was told a maintenance issue was receiving attention in my area. That was months ago and the problem is still there. Anyone else having this issue?32Views0likes0CommentsNo service and told lies by smarty Rubbish!
Im sick to death of trying to tell the idiots at smarty that i have no service, and getting back lies, such as telling me I've renewed when i had, th3n no service in my area, when the smarty system said there was. I've been with smarty for about 6 years - but on this occasion i am sick!202Views0likes12CommentsVoice calls not delivering speech reliably
When I make or receive calls a lot of speech is getting dropped such that those at the other end of the line keep asking me to repeat myself. This happens at home even when I have 2-3 bars of signal indicated but has also occurred elsewhere in the country with similar signal strength. I have also had calls drop. This has been the case from the start for 6 weeks+ now and happens with a new iPhone 16E (WIFI calling is enabled). The smarty coverage checker suggests excellent 4G coverage in the area. I have had some important calls that have been impacted and will be forced to leave Smarty unless I can resolve this issue as not being able to call reliably from home is a non starter. My previous iPhone SE connected on Vodafone from home reliably. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.51Views0likes1CommentLooking for better coverage? Poor signal?
I live in Bath Spa, and have been on Smarty since 9/2025. For a good signal and enjoyable network experience, it is worth here especially to know a few things. As previously I was with O2 for a few years back. Only being in Bath longer, I've started having signal dropout and throughput problems. So I went to a local mate's mobile shop that I've known over 10 years to ask for some advice. His first point was "Are you on O2?", and soon after then I learned my answer. Myself too I noticed that with 5g connected coverage, here in Bath is the best way to signal/usage stability. He then recommended EE, however to get 5g from them, you need to be on contract. I didn't want that, so I tried Smarty and loved it ever since. MORE TO THE POINT OF COVERAGE AND IMPROVEMENT To sum things up. To stop having problems with finding better coverage, signal, or throughput, you need to focus on how and where you get signal. To help you do this to the above, I found a open source app called Open Signal (no charges, no ads, signups, no bs). There you'll find everything to help you approach and furthermore calibrate things better. It has tests for video quality limits, latency, and signal direction. There's a coverage map, a currently connected cell tower direction compass (just walk around with on screen arrow), and a table showing available 2g/3g/4g/5g available percentages at spot, and a map of available local cell towers(with a signal connected line from current tower to you). So objects and placement around(buildings, structures, interference), can be addressed to optimise your experience. Open Signal is a great tool for customising your signal experience anywhere. You can get it on the app store. Its completely ad and payment free.32Views1like0CommentsDre 806
It’s currently 12:53pm 29/4/2026. I haven’t been able to make or receive a single call for over 24 hours. All my phone settings are as they should be, I have even put my sim into another phone and same issue.. This is a constant issue with UC Smarty. My data is working fine and I can make calls through WhatsApp, FaceTime, and other apps that use WiFi or internet to make calls. However, when people call my phone it says my number is no longer available. I have serious calls I need to make that I cannot. I am also waiting for important calls which can lead to legal repercussions if I’m am unable to speak to the person attempting to contact me. There is no way to contact anyone from smarty, no way to get a response from a real person as opposed to a BOT or AI and as usual there is NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON WHO HAS BEEN GIVE A SOLUTION for similar issues. How will this problem be fixed. When will it be fixed. Will I receive any repayments for not being provided with a service I am paying for?26Views0likes1Comment
