Invalid sim
Hello is there any chance I can change my sim to an eSIM and it’s constantly disconnecting, its worrying me now as I use my phone for emergency phone calls and it’s just disconnecting and saying ‘no service’ and ‘no sim’ - spontaneously, and getting worse. I have checked sim in other phones it’s not working and also really want to keep my number. Please resolve me - thanks

Just recently taken up Smarty free offer of 40GB extra date, since I did my phone will only make calls on WiFi spent hours talking to support tried everything even sent out new sim card still no use phone sees the tower but when trying to connect just reports "unable to connect to network". The sim card works fine in my old phone so can only assume they have somehow locked me out during the package update anyone had a similar issue?

Switched over from ID mobile about 1 week ago and since then have no connection at all. I can connect to Wifi and make wifi calls, but when out and about the Sim shows no connection and and excalamation over my Pixel 9 Signal status. Obviously I've checked my APN details against those supplied, restarted, ejected and reinserted SIM...nothing.

Wow, nothing but profound problems -- I have paid but they won't hook me hooked me up to to my line. I keep getting chirpy messages telling me to sort out my own phone so I connect woth them! will be asking for my pac code as soon as they (if they know how) get my number transferred. I have discovered recently it is very important to find out if the customer service of a mobile phone company is based in Europe rather than India.. Oops, I forgot to ask, but 1 minute on the Web chat and belatedly figured out to my horror it was India. I am just praying they can manage the number switch before the end of the month. In the meantime I still have my Lycamobile (I was leaving them because they are based in Sri Lanka, haha) I cannot believe Which? have them as a recommended supplier. In the future I will never trust Which?POOR SIGNAL
Calls don’t connect, I repeatedly try making calls and it’s silent. Doesn’t matter who it’s to. iMessages fail to deliver. I often have zero bars. One bar mostly. This has been constant for 2 months. I’m in Harrogate area. I have my elderly mum on a Smarty plan (in Derbyshire) and she’s unable to make calls or send texts most days. My father and my daughter are also with Smarty and struggling but have WiFi so it’s not as noticeable. We are all considering swapping to another network with more reliable service. Firstly I’d like to check if there’s anything can be done about this.
Short codes 79100
I have just read a post from 2/2025 saying we can use short codes one here , but in Dec last year 2025 I tried to join fabswingers as a supported yes I can't wait for the jokes 😀 and I got charges for the text but the code never worked and ended up being refunded for out of plan add on moneys, does anyone know if this has changed or its still a no.go from.smarty ? Thanks Jim x
