Just joined...just leaving
Switched over from ID mobile about 1 week ago and since then have no connection at all. I can connect to Wifi and make wifi calls, but when out and about the Sim shows no connection and and excalamation over my Pixel 9 Signal status. Obviously I've checked my APN details against those supplied, restarted, ejected and reinserted SIM...nothing.
Need to receive an urgent text whilst in Thailand
Hi sorry if this is an obvious one but I'm planning a trip to Thailand but need to receive a text to my British smarty number while I am there. What would I need to do to ensure I get network coverage as opposed to data for internet usuage? Is there a package I need to buy?

Wow, nothing but profound problems -- I have paid but they won't hook me hooked me up to to my line. I keep getting chirpy messages telling me to sort out my own phone so I connect woth them! will be asking for my pac code as soon as they (if they know how) get my number transferred. I have discovered recently it is very important to find out if the customer service of a mobile phone company is based in Europe rather than India.. Oops, I forgot to ask, but 1 minute on the Web chat and belatedly figured out to my horror it was India. I am just praying they can manage the number switch before the end of the month. In the meantime I still have my Lycamobile (I was leaving them because they are based in Sri Lanka, haha) I cannot believe Which? have them as a recommended supplier. In the future I will never trust Which?
Short codes 79100
I have just read a post from 2/2025 saying we can use short codes one here , but in Dec last year 2025 I tried to join fabswingers as a supported yes I can't wait for the jokes 😀 and I got charges for the text but the code never worked and ended up being refunded for out of plan add on moneys, does anyone know if this has changed or its still a no.go from.smarty ? Thanks Jim x
Why does Smarty keep asking for my PAC
I joined Smarty in March 2025, and immediately transferred my number using a PAC. Sixteen months later, Smarty persists in displaying at every login: "We noticed you activated your SIM. Do you want to bring your phone number to SMARTY" and wants me to supply a PAC or STAC (again). Obviously, I don't want to change my number, and I can't get another one now anyway. How do I remind Smarty that I already did all this ? -- Paul.
eSIM activation issue
Morning, when getting set up via eSIM I accidentally deleted the Smarty eSIM from my iPhone intead of my old Three one. I have requested a new one via the Smarty dashboard but although I have the new code the email with the eSIM QR code hasn't arrived. It's been about an hour. How do I resolve this? I currently have no service. Thanks!
