I started a new (first) Smarty contract and received a number. I then started a group, adding a second sim I normally used, retaining the number on transfer from Tesco. However, when buying add-ons for my second sim, all smarty communications went to the first sim, which was left in the UK. Therefore, I couldn't complete a transaction as I could not access the first sim. As far as Smarty was concerned, all access and notications went through the first sim. My question is: how can I swap sim numbers to enable my second sim to be the LEAD Sim? Thanks46Views0likes1CommentStrange Roaming Charges outside EU.
I'm in Switzerland, so have an Out-of-Plan add on for me and my wife's numbers to cover usage there. At 1.00am on several days we both have a charge labelled "Call from". But with no information. Exactly 1:00 am each time. The first was for £6.44 (at a time we were in France, so should be covered by the inclusive EU roaming. Anyone know what these are? Or had the same issue?Solved59Views0likes3CommentsRate Advice text
I’m new to Smarty. Have a rolling calling & 30GB data plan. Recently in Sweden I sent a few texts and made 1 brief call to a UK mobile. I got text from Smarty ‘It’s max £2.50/min to call, £1/min to receive calls ….. You need a cash add on to make & receive calls’ I understood this was included in my plan. Is it just a generic warning message?38Views0likes2CommentsURGENT: SMARTY is failing now, time to move to ID
Compare Smarty to ID on here: https://www.uswitch.com/mobiles/compare/sim_only_deals/ Smarty is honestly terrible. ID offers so much more on the same network for the same price. They offer more data per £, data rollover, more EU countries access, 30GB EU Roaming (18 more than Smarty), e-sim for Watches, 3 months of Apple TV + Music. It is a no-brainer to switch now, Smarty has lost it's game sadly.867Views0likes2Comments
