Team, not sure if anyone else is affected in the South East of England, but I'm regularly facing issues with Smarty data. Whether in Berkshire where I live, or Woking town centre where i was yesterday, just constantly I'm having issues with slow or no data, even if i have multiple bars and 4G showing. I have been a Smarty Customer since February 2026. Since that time I have had two days access to calls and text. Up until yesterday I had no issue with mobile data. Mother's Day data stopped completely and I was automatically logged out of the Smarty App. I do not have WiFi at home so rely on my phone to keep in contact with people. It is unsatisfactory for me to pay for a unlimited plan but not get that service. I joined Smarty in February. In a few days time it will be one month being with Smarty. During that time no problem with data. I am on an unlimited plan data, calls and text. Not getting calls or text. Only had the service (call/text) for two days so far. That is not an unlimited service. I am not registered on IMS. IMS registration is needed. IMS needs to be registered on my phone for VoLTE (Voice over LTE - making and receiving a calls) Wi-Fi calling and RCS messaging to work. Any Smarty Customer having any issues with calls or text it. Sadly, I am back again. Still having problems staying connected to the Network so that I can make receive calls etc. Is there a reason for this? Why can't I stay connected to the Network??? Now on day 22... Only had two days where I could make calls, receive call and get text including short codes. Now the Service Status is back to Out of Service. I am trying to be patient but it's not really fair to be paying for Unlimited data, calls and text and only get service for 2 days out of 22. Is/has anyone had any issues with Smarty claiming they’ve used data when you know you haven’t? I’m a low data user, on the 4Gb plan. Got a message yesterday to say I’d run out of data which was strange, I never run out and I was working from home, hardly using my phone, which was connected to home WiFi and had been all day, hadn’t left the house. Checked Smarty account and it said I’d used 0.7Gb. I’d been on WiFi the whole time. Chatting with Smarty support, long and the short of it is they claim that when phones are connected to WiFi they still use cellular data unless you manually switch off mobile data to force them to use WiFi. I don’t believe this. Said even if that’s the case the how come my normal usage is 20-30Mb when connected to WiFi and using my phone as normal, now suddenly I’ve used 700Mb.
