Trying smarty for first time in a new zte mifi device. It’s only picking up 3G coverage yet my phone is on ee network and picking up 4g. Any idea how I can improve things to force smarty aim to connect to the er network ?

@AndrewG_3183993 Isn't the phone picking up service from a different mast?

It seems odd that the device is picking up 3G coverage - I thought that smarty had turned it off.

I don't see how the Smarty sim will connect to the EE network - have I misunderstood?

Phone has a speed of 24mbs and the zte with smarty sim in it is currently 0.2mbs seems strange that the two have vastly different speeds and I assumed the smarty was connecting to 3g

@AndrewG_3183993 Smarty's coverage is provided by Three's network, so that is the only network your Smarty SIM will connect to in the UK (it will show up as 'SMARTY' on your device rather than '3', though).

The coverage of all four UK networks - EE, Three, Vodafone and O2 - varies across the country. It does not follow that getting a 4G signal from one of those networks means that you should get the same from the other networks in the same location.
