Very slow speed

Hi I have been with Smarty for quite a while and every time my plan renews my data is always slow, It is making me really frustrated and I am considering to cancel my plan next month unless they can fix this issue, wouldn’t recommend using Smarty to anyone.

    Raja  Not sure how we can help you on this really.

    If you happen to be in an area with a poor data speed, there may not be a fix for it. Have you always had poor speed? If so, why is it a problem now? Why do you say every time your plan renews - is it only slow at that time?Have you checked Network Status and Coverage for your area?

    Before moving to any other network, you may want to check the quality of signal on other networks where you are.

      Your service is horrible, it shows as 4G sometimes 5G with 3/4 bars and it still takes 5-10 minutes to load up, I just did a speed test on my other sim it shows as 153mbps and for Smarty it showed up as 7.1 mbps like what is going on, I am going to be leaving from here when my sim ends.

        Raja  Just a heads-up here.......you are not writing to Smarty here - we are forum members like you. Generally, Smarty do not read all comments here.

    I have the same issue. My current data speed is 1Mbps

      Nicholas  There are a few possible reasons.

      You may just have a poor signal where you are.

      The network may be congested.

      Your property may be shielding the signal due to metal content.

    Slow speeds here too 😞

    speed has in the past been 80-100mbps

    about a month ago speeds have tanked to maybe 8 mbps and signal is piss poor now.have checked the three network and there is no ongoing issues

    even tried a spare 4G router,still no better so is not a hardware problem on my end.Would appear to be three network issue 😞

      You are lucky your speed tanked at 8mbps that is ours 80% of the time but at certain times of the day it drops to about 8 KBPS !!! mainly in the evening.  I understand about contention but to go to near modem speed is not acceptable surely.

        PaulSto_3208080 If it is. otherwise acceptable then you unfortunately have little choice but to find another network that can offer a better speed on its mast local to you.

        The good thing is that you are not stuck in any long term contract with Smarty.
