Text coonected to old number
I have a new phone from my friend, my old number has been changed. Calls and receiving texts are ok. Sending a text uses the phones old number as that is what it is connected to. How can I solve thi...
Are you using an iPhone, or an Android handset Ffoenix?
- If you've got an iPhone, try a "Network Reset", which is described in the iPhone user guide.
- If you've got an Android handset this might be caused by some of the "settings" in the Google Messages app. Try the following:
a) Open the Messages app.
b) Tap the "Profile" icon.
c) Then Messages > Settings.
d) Then Advanced, and select the phone number - change to the correct phone number for your SIM.
e) Restart your phone, and it should work as expected... 🤞
