SIM card top up

One of my SIM cards is in use in the CCTV. A few days ago it stopped working so I purchased a £10 top-up. However, this hasn't made any difference.

The plan renews tomorrow but I found it frustrating not being able to use the CCTV.

Am I doing something wrong? The account renews tomorrow as it happens but just curious as to why it hasn't worked.
