Roaming in South Africa
Hi all.....My daughter is currently in South Africa with her college. She went last Monday and since then i have put £40 worth of add on onto her Smarty account for roaming. This last a day or 2 and ...
Many thanks for your reply.....yes, i dare say that she is using the phone to some extent but i was shocked at how fast the add on(s) were used. I thought that there was no way that she had been on her phone that much to use all of the add on. But, Your explanation of the way way the data is costed now makes sense......160MB of data though....Jeeeeeez !
MarkTins_994050 It is really quite easy to use up that amount of data. As an example, I left home (and therefore my broadband wifi) this morning just after 09:00 and returned at 12:00 - I did not touch my phone and yet it used 4mb of data. Imagine what it would have been with some emails, a bit of soshal meyja etc!
