Lock phone at nightime how can we?
Hi,
Is this an Android phone? You could use something like Google Family Link which is a parental controls service available for free by Google. You could use it just for locking the phone, but also to restrict / block certain apps, YouTube, search settings etc.
If it's an iPhone you could use Screen Time to lock the phone and/or restrict other features.

Thankyou and yes its an iPhone the difficulty is getting her to hand the phone in during the night
William_2663920 You can set a Screen Time with a separate password in the Settings on the iPhone.
Alternatively, if she won't hand it over when requested, remove it permanently as you are ultimately in charge as a parent.
You're welcome. I would suggest Screen Time for now - I use an Android so I am mostly familiar with Android parental controls, sorry I can't be more helpful
