Disable VoLTE, just need 4G LTE data only

I'm hoping someone will be able to assist, as I use my Smarty sim card in my car as a wifi hotspot as it boosts the signal using the cars aerial, however which the 3G switch off and my car not being VoLTE compatible its now stopping the sim from initiating a connection, thus I really need the VoLTE provision turning off/removing from my connection as I don't need calls or texts as only use the data.

I've tried using an andriod phone to make the changes, but this clearly doesn't save anything to the sim, so as soon as I put it in the car sim slot it tries to connect to VoLTE and fails.

Anyone have any advice or able to confirm its possible to remove the VoLTE from my connection so it'll only connect to LTE only?

    Thanks for your message. Unfortunately, to use a SMARTY SIM, the device must be VoLTE-compatible, as calls and network connections rely on this technology. It isn’t possible to remove or switch off VoLTE from your connection.
