Closing account of deceased parent.

Hi, I just submitted info needed to stop direct debits to my account which mums £8pm was going out of. Once this has been actioned will I still keep her number or must I request her puk or pac code to transfer existing number to another provider on pay as you go sim?

    Shameem_1879009  Depends upon who was running the account really.

    If the account was in your name, you can order a PAC code (not PUK - that's for unlocking a sim that has become locked due to incorrect password entry) and move to another network if you wish.

    If you do not buy any further Smarty plans (and do not move the number) then the sim will be deactivated after 220 days.
