Can’t make or receive calls

I have an iPhone 7 and for the last couple of weeks I have been unable to make or receive calls. When I call someone, the call connects but I can’t hear the person on the other end of the call and they can’t hear me. The call then fails after a few seconds. I can text and use the internet okay and the phone connects to my WiFi without a problem. Can you please look into this for me.
