Transfer ownership
Hi, I have an O2 sim on a monthly contract that my son uses for his phone. I want to get the number transferred into his name as well as switching to smarty. Can we set up an account in his name with smarty and port the number into the new account? Will it then 'belong' to him as in its linked to an account in his name?6Views0likes0CommentsSignificant delay in voice calling - both on wifi and without.
Hi everyone, I am quite new to Smarty and have an issue with voice calling - Calls connect with no problem but there is a significant delay in the other person hearing me. Sometimes this delay is such that I have to abandon the call. It seems to be worse when using WiFi calling. I’m on iPhone 12. Any thoughts?14KViews1like27CommentsCannot make outgoing calls to switchboards
My wife has a smarty sim on my account but cannot make outgoing calls to, what seems, landline numbers such as our doctors switchboard. She can make outgoing calls to normal landline numbers such as a home phone number etc. She can also successfully call other mobile phone numbers. The issue seems isolated to company numbers. Has anyone experienced anything like this before? She has an iPhone 16 Pro Max, as do I, and I have no problem making any outgoing calls to any type of numbers.4Views0likes0CommentsBlocking Personal Hotspot
Hi, I have an account and my two kids do in my Group. Is it possible to block my kids from using Personal Hotspot from their service? They are using it to tether to devices that I have blocked in my Wifi router at home. We are all on iphone and its not something you can block in screen time. Thanks, John36Views0likes3CommentsFarewell
For those who had read my posts for the past two months will know that the service I had received had been less than Stella. Now that I am actively trying to leave. I have been made a offer to stay and the unlimited data (and some text) is been working perfectly. However, I have missed some important things due to lack of service. Reliability is more important than special offers. I had high hopes for Smarty but it was not to be. Thank you to all the staff who did try to help. Really appreciated your efforts and patience...26Views1like0Comments🚀 eSIM at SMARTY Just Got Bigger — Now Available for New Customers!

Hi - im on a plan, a deal 12 quid 200gb - the auto renew wasn't ticked even tho I usually do and it's defaulted to the 100gb all data amount, smarty customer service tell me it'll be back come April 26.. I come away from the experience negatively.. Smarty, which I've been with for over 3yrs have a bot chat service then it goes to human which are Indian or Pakistani (not English natively) - what a company! 🤦70Views0likes9Comments
