Activating a Replacement SIM card, with same phone number - How?
I am already with SMARTY (for 1 year approx) and want to keep my Phone Number and stay with SMARTY I have had a Replacement New SIM Card (which I Requested) from SMARTY, which I am putting in a new refurbished, unlocked, phone. I have put the new SIM card, with hopefully my old retained number, in my new phone, and my SMARTY Dashboard asks the following Questions:- "Your phone number We noticed you activated your SIM. Do you want to bring your phone number to SMARTY? 1.Yes, bring my number. We will bring your number to SMARTY by the end of the day 11/06/26 2. No, keep new SMARTY number Confirm " Question (maybe SMARTY techies can answer):- Which Option do I choose? I already have a SMARTY number I already use and want to keep, I've just got a replacement SIM card3Views0likes0Comments4 days without service after porting - number never bound to eSIM - forced to leave
I ported my number to Smarty on 3rd June 2026. My number never bound to any Smarty eSIM. I had 4 replacement eSIMs issued across 4 days, multiple agents giving the same ineffective reset instructions repeatedly, and one agent closing the chat claiming the issue was resolved when it was not. After 4 days of complete service loss as a business owner, missing critical calls and communications, I was forced to port away to another provider. Smarty offered £10 as full and final compensation, which I refused. I now have an active Resolver complaint open and will be escalating to the Communications Ombudsman if not resolved adequately. If you are considering porting to Smarty via eSIM, be aware that their backend provisioning process and support team are not equipped to handle porting failures. The network itself is fine but their customer service is not fit for business use.OTP SMS from Italy while in London

I already have one number, i then purchased another sim & paid the £18 data deal, the sim didn't work in my phone & was told I had to wait 24 hour for a number allocation, when I received the number i still couldn't activate, & was told I had to order a new sim again, the webcam was not helpful at all, I have now cancelled the sim & asked for a refund & when my other number runs out I will not be renewing 😡😡12Views0likes0Comments
