5G option not showing, even though I have 5G phone
Hi, I just joined Smarty. I have a 5G compatible phone, but the option to select 5G is not displayed on my phone. Have tried a EE SIM and that shows 5G availability. Tried lots of things with Smarty tech help. But still not working. Any ideas?11Views0likes3CommentsNetwork Connectivity
Need some help! Just came back from Ireland and ever since I've been back my phone keeps doing this thing where it'll go onto emergency calls only until I turn on and off airplane mode, and that seems to fix it until it does it again, happens a couple times a day but it's quite annoying, anyone know what's happening? I've noticed as well on occasion when I try to call people, even when it says I have perfect signal, it says server unreachable, if anyone knows what's wrong please let me know how to fix it, thanks!424Views1like5CommentsSmarty network coverage checker vs the Ofcom version
I used the Smarty network coverage checker to check coverage at my address, according to that I should be wearing tin foil on my head as the signal and coverage is so strong. However upon checking the Ofcom mobile coverage checker for my address it is a completely different story, hardly any coverage. Anyone have any idea which checker is telling the truth ? I went onto the smarty website a couple days ago. Ordered my sim, set up my plan and requested a pac code from the old provider which I then put into the smarty website as it asked for the pac code. I then set up an account on smarty and I’ve had my sim delivered today. Problem is it’s saying awaiting number on the main dashboard and I’ve just had an email saying a replacement sim is on the way…I didn’t order a replacement sim?! I only got my new smarty sim through the post today. So 1. How do I activate if it’s not giving me the option to and 2. Which sim do i activate? I've been charged £4.50 every week for this website funvids, I didn't even press anything, I just opened it, and somehow it got my phone number and has been charging me on my phone bill weekly, what can I do? Or can smarty block 3rd party payments? I've tried messaging 'STOP' to their shortcode 65065, but it said I have insufficient funds, so I bought a £5 bolt on that said it could message shortcodes, I converted it to credit, sent the message again, and it still didn't work, so I don't know what to doLive chat.
