Hi guys, I'm currently in France and would like to use my phone to stream TV in the evenings. Can I pay for a 7 day unlimited data add on first at a cost of £10. And then pay for a 3 day pass to use all of the data (not just the 12G fair usage) at a cost of a further £7 ? Thanks.Solved3.3KViews0likes7CommentsPhoning France from UK
nformation throughout is very patchy and deliberately evasive. I joined Smarty believing I would be able to phone France as a part of the deal. It seems not. What do I need to do to be able to phone France and which Add-on do I need to purchase to cover 5 days. I was going to put all four of the families five phones across to Smarty but I am glad I bought only one to try out the system. Lack of information definitely evasive. God why did they close down "PLUSNET"? it was pure magic1.3KViews0likes2CommentsMifi Device and data sim to be used in France
Hello. I am looking for suggestions for a Mifi device which is compatible with a sim data package (from Smarty) which is to be used in France on a Campsite. Does anyone use the above setup? What make / model Mifi do you use with the Smarty sim and will it work in France? Thanks1.8KViews0likes2Comments- 1.6KViews0likes1Comment
Switzerland charges
I travel to France very close to the Swiss border every few months. I’m confused by the text message I get from Smarty when I unknowingly connect to a Swiss provider - it contradicts itself. Is it free to receive calls and texts or not? Please can anyone help? I avoid going online when I’m out of a Wi-Fi zone, but my Add on bundle disappears all the same. Thanks. “Welcome to Switzerland. It's max of 50p/min to call & 2p/MB data. To receive a call and send SMS is in bundle. You need an Out of plan add-on to make & receive calls/texts and get online.
