No, you would need to add additional credit to your account to use data in the USA, and it will cost you a rather pricey 10p per MB of data.

Calls will cost you 50p per minute to make and 5p per minute to receive. Texts are 20p each to send but free to receive. Data costs an extortionate 10p per Mb, so one Gigabyte will cost £102.40p !!!

You would do better to either buy a local sim in the USA or else an Esim if your phone can accept it. With the Esim, you can call vi apps like WhatsApp or FaceTime as they use data and it will be vastly cheaper. Online companies like Airalo often get good reviews (I have used them before with no problem).

hi have read the prices for add on and it’s not the cost you state so when I am ready I will contact smarty and check the costs. It is USA states calls 19p per min 6p for text

@MaryCok_2176738  The price you quote is for International calls FROM the UK to USA and that is on p22/23 of the Price Guide.

Your query is about Roaming IN the USA and those prices are on p19/20 - that's where I got the prices in my reply. Please check again.

hi thank you checked this and you’re right my bad. I won’t use data will use the hotel wifi and possible use WhatsApp and phone home only in emergency
