Will unlimited data month pass last full month if I pause auto-renew.

Hello,

When working from home last week, found that I was using too much data per day potentially and 100GB plan would not be enough for rest of this month up to 3rd June.

If I buy unlimited data month pass starting on 19th May, will it last the full month until 18th June if I pause my auto renew on the current plan set to renew on 3rd June?

I want to ensure that I don't pay any more money before possibly switching to unlimited service from 19th June.

Just a bit worried as the basic Smarty guidance states that I will lose service after the auto-renewal pause date, even if I have a separate plan in operation.

    Hi CCGreen01 

    Your base plan must be active to use any add-ons. Therefore, you'll need to pay your monthly renewal. 

    You do have the option to change your base plan to unlimited, which would take effect on your next renewal date.

      OK thanks.

      Just assumed that UK Unlimited data pass would last until 30 days was up.

      Not great. Suppose I should have just selected extra £3 unlimited from the start, but thought 100GB would be enough for first month as there was more than half a month of wired broadband plan left.

        Data add-ons only work when your base plan is active since they’re designed to give you extra data on top of your main plan. If your base plan isn’t active, there’s no service for the add-on to connect with, so unfortunately, it can’t be used.
