Unable to make calls to Landline
We are unable to make calls to my mother in law's landline since a change by openreach to enable area code dialling from the landline.
We have tried a giff gaff SIM, this dials the number successfully.
Can you investigate and let me know what needs doing to resolve this?

Jonah Unfortunately, you are posting on the Community Forum site and not writing to Smarty directly.
You will need to web chat with Smarty Support with full detail if you want them to investigate for you.
I would mention that connection to some landline numbers, particularly if they are internet based, does not always work first time. I have experienced this with some companies. Dialling again later seems to work. My thoughts are that it ill inked to the number of hops from mobile service to landline service and then to internet based service.
