Solved

Trying to change password

Hi all,

I've just switched to Smarty and have the app. I want to change password but when I click on the emailed link it just takes me to the dashboard page of the app. I can't see anywhere that would continue the process.

 

Any ideas/Resolution would be gratefully received. Many thanks for reading

    Richard_3461137 I do not use the app normally as my experience with it has not been great.

    I log in at smarty.co.uk via a web browser without problems on any device. The phone will try to direct you to the app, but usually you can refuse that.

    Richard_3461137 If you log into your account via the website, then in your Account Dashboard personal details you can change it.

      Hi, thanks for your reply. I did try logging out of the app and going onto the website but I was still taken back to the app. Maybe I could try going on to the website from another device, do you think that may work? Thanks

    Yes, so far I think the app isn't too great. I'll try logging in to the website from another device and then at least I won't be pushed back to the app. Thanks for your help 🙂

    Hi, don't know if you've sorted this yet, but I've had same problem. Read your replies etc - in the end I disabled the App, did the change through the website and then reinstalled the App. This works. Regards suffolkvagabond.
