Cannot call my wife Smarty number

My wife and I are both Smarty users.

I have been a user for over a year( .My Wife move to Smarty a month ago() on my recommendation!.

We both successfully  ported our old numbers over .

We found today if we tried to call each by the standard (non data)voice call we are referred to voice mail.

WE CAN CALL USING A DATA NETWORK  - What App for instance

I  can call other mobile users using Voice network - not data. .

Please answer and solve this problem

    Update -Problem solved!

I switch on the the LTE  under mobile networks. With in my wife Samsung mobiles.. it seems her mobile was set up for auto connect  2G,3G  . Smarty chat box was helpful but could not solve the problem (2  hours very polite) but solved once transfered to Technical Network team .

ColinAt_3602027 I am assuming this is about VoLTE being turned off and not having 4G enabled. Three turned off 3G (and never had 2G), so calls cannot be made without packet-switched LTE network.

Do mark your message as solution so that people with the same issue can find this thread and fix it for themselves.

Marked as a solution now. My wife'Samsung S20 does not have 4G and LTE was switched off.

ColinAt_3602027 There seems to be another user commenting issues with calls, though their calls can connect, just that the other person cannot hear them well: Call problem.

Maybe contact support via Live Chat, mention that calling someone on the SMARTY network sends it to voicemail, but calling a number on another network works fine.
